Remains of a woman in a Medieval well

During construction activities in the eastern part of the Wehl village, a Medieval well with a very macabre content was discovered. Just beneath a few animal bones lay the almost complete skeleton of a woman of approximately 20 years old. Unfortunately we don't know how she came to end up in the well. Probably she fell down the well while getting a bucket of fresh water. The reason that she was not retrieved, could suggest that at that time a war was going on in the area.
